Over the weekend we bought a giant pack of chalk, 48 colors to be exact. Who knew they made boxes with that many? The kids and I were all so excited to use them.
We headed out in our jammies this morning to have some fun and enjoy some fresh air. I feel super guilty about playing with the chalk while Aubrey is at school, so guess what we will be doing later this afternoon?

At first I was just sitting on the step watching the kids grab as many colors as they could. Allyson asked me to draw with her. So I grabbed a black piece of chalk {the black looks so cool!}
I attempted to draw a dump truck.

Everywhere I went to draw the kids wanted to draw right next to me. Austin thought my dump truck needed a bit of pink to it.
I totally agree, bud!

Ta-da! So proud of his creation.

Allyson loved her flower I made.

Then she asked me to make a "huge-est flower for bubba"

They decided to leave mama to the drawing while they took turns in the car and running me over.

Then they decided to pick flowers and smell them. Oh boy, they thought sniffing the flower was absolutely hilarious. They laughed for a good 10 minutes straight. Taking turns inhaling and then they would burst out with laughter.

Oh be still my heart.

These "littles" as I call them are getting to big to be called little. Allyson always tells me, "Mommy, I not a little, I a big girl."

Not long after this, these two lost it, couldn't share and the crazy screaming started. That was my cue to start making lunch.

I love all these photos! They are great and it looks like you had a great time with your kiddos. I like that you actually took photos of your chalk drawings. I would never actually feature my drawings in a photo. Yours look good!
