Pumpkin Patch Fun

It's October and that mean that the pumpkin patches are opening up! I was a little more excited than I should have been. It's something about being there with all of those orange pumpkins of all sizes, farm animals, hay that sticks to you for the rest of the day, and the smiles on your little ones faces. It's just the best!

Yesterday, we made our first trip of the season and it was a success! We met up with some good friends and had some Mommy time and the kids got to play, run, roll in corn, all the things kids love doing.

Austin thinks that corn in your hair is the absolute best!

They have these mattresses to jump on, and Allyson LOVES this! Last year she bounced for so long and this year wasn't any different. I think this is where she found her love of jumping on her bed.

Look at her go!

Here's their picture from last year. Austin hated every single minute of it. Allyson trying to escape and head back over to the mattress jumping.

This year, Austin enjoyed the trip a lot more this year. No big crocodile tears this year.  He didn't want to sit for a picture, but he would happily sit with my Starbucks in hand.

It's crazy looking back at that last trip and it was so much work and tough. This year was a lot nicer, it was still crazy with two little ones who wanted to go in different directions, but it warmed my heart to see them enjoy our trip. And who am I kidding, I got to enjoy some time with dear friends.

Win-Win-WIN!

I asked the lady at the front if she wouldn't mind taking a picture of us, and look how great it turned out. And on the first try!

One trip down and more to come this month. One will include Big Sis & Daddy... and braving the weekend crowds.
