Lighting McQueen

Let me tell you about my sweet Aubrey.
A few weeks ago Aubrey came home and told me that the playdoh in her classroom had dried up because some kids forgot to put the lid on tightly. She wanted to bring in some of her playdoh. We have a TON of play doh. I made sure to let her know once we give her class the play doh it's not ours any more. She understood and happily took it school. I haven't heard anything about it since. Other than her teacher and her class thanked her.

This morning she asked if she could bring one of her Cars car into school for her class to keep. I didn't really understand the whole story but I just got that she wanted to bring in her car to have during center time. We went over the whole giving it away means we can't ask for it back. Other kids would be playing with it. She understood. She said she just wanted others to be able to have a car to play with. So sweet huh?

I love that she has such a giving heart.
That she cares about others.
She likes the toys that she's given away. It's not like they aren't played with. They are.
She cares about her classmates and wants to share the joy in these things.

I'm one proud Momma!

"God loves a cheerful giver."
2 Corinthians 9:7b

  1. That is just so sweet. She has such a kind heart :)

  2. So sweet that she thinks of others! You are a great mama teaching her things like that. And she looks incredibly grown up and beautiful in this picture.

  3. I love this!! We can learn so much about a child's simple view on life and their faith and actions.
