Story Time at the library

We attempted the library again today. We actually got our butts out of the house early and were able to hang out before Story time. I took Allyson out of the stroller and she was gone. She had a great time pulling the books off the shelf. Sorry library staff!

Aubrey jumped right in and started reading a book. 

She's getting so good at sounding out words. I'm so incredibly proud of her. During story time they mentioned the Summer Reading program and Aubrey was so excited to sign up for it. 20 minutes of reading a day. Piece of cake. We read a lot any way. 

Little miss needs her bangs cut AGAIN

Allyson really enjoyed the Wiggle Worms. She danced and kept coming over and giving Aubrey and I kisses. She'd shake her hips and clap her hands. She wasn't too into sitting and listening to the book. It's a good thing the books are short. 

Austin was a good little guy and slept through the whole library visit. 

After the program the kids get their hands stamped. I forgot how much joy that brings kids. Aubrey thought it was the coolest. As a bonus it was a dinosaur, even better.

Allyson wasn't too sure what in the world just happen to her. 

I tried to get a picture of them showing me their stamps. Allyson could get over this thing on her arm. She sat there and wiped it for 5 minutes. And of course my Aubrey is cheesin' it up for me. Gosh I love her!

Oh and Aubrey got her very own library card. She was hilarious. She thinks she's hot stuff having her very own card. She asked the lady "So do I give you my card now or later?" 

We stopped off at the store afterwards and was so excited to take it in and show people.

This was super yummy. I'm not a fan of peanut butter but this was just yummy. I had them with some mini graham crackers, pretzels and apples. Hey, I had to be a little healthy.

There was also a bean dip with yummy guacamole in it. Chips and dip.. some veggies for the dip. Those finds from Pinterest were the favorites. Thanks Pinterest for not letting me down.

Somehow I didn't get a pic of Conrad and I. I'm pretty bummed out about that. Sheesh!

2 months ... a little late

Monthly Survey

1.       How old is baby? 2 months

c.       Clothes size: He's wearing a mix of 3month and 6 month clothes. His sleepers at 6 months though because his legs are too long squeeze into 3 months size. 

d.      Diaper size: Size 1 - probably going to bump him up to size 2 when I run out. 

e.      Hair color: Blondish/Brown

f.        Eyes: Beautiful Blue 

4.       Milestones:

a.       Teething: He's just started to drool. Please don't get teeth yet little man.

b.      Verbal skills: He's starting to coo a little bit and laughing. 

c.       Rolling: Nope.

d.       Anything else? He's happy to sit and just stare and smile at whatever is around him. 

5.       Things he likes:

a.       Toys: He spends time in his little bouncer and likes to look at the animals and listen to the music. 

b.      Books: We aren't reading to just him, but he joins in on nightly reading with Aubrey. 

c.       Songs: He smiles when Aubrey sings him any of her songs. 

d.      Other activities: We have done some occasional tummy time. It's just hard when I have a two other tornadoes running around. 

6.       Things he dislikes: Doesn't like waiting too long for his food. 

7.       Sleeping: Austin has nights where is will sleep a good 6-9 hour stretches. Then other nights, like last night, he was up every 3 hours. 

8.       Eating: I'm still nursing him on demand. Some of the time he goes long stretches and other times it seems like it's every hour! 

9.       Nicknames: Brother, Tin-tin, lovebug, little guy, little man

10.   Things we’re looking forward to next month: Aubrey's birthday and her party!! 

11.   How I like motherhood: I absolutely love it. I have my days where I wish I went to work but I know that God has called me to be a stay at home to these crazy kids. 

a.       Likes: Watching the three kids interact. Such a blessing.

b.      Dislikes: Just being tired

More Randoms

1. I'm going through baby clothes and baby thing & I'm having quite the range of emotions.
2. The ecards crack me up. I seriously love them. Someone sent this to me ...aww I feel so loved.





3. I can't believe Aubrey's birthday is next week!! She so excited. So much to do to get ready.
4. The hot summer weather is coming. 99* on Thursday. Not looking forward to the heat.
5. I *finally* made prayer journals for the kids. I even wrote in them. Yay!!





6. Conrad's graduation party went so well. I made some yummy treats from Pintrest. I'll post the links when I'm on the computer. So proud of Conrad!!
7. I was introduced to buying Cricut cartridges on Ebay. I'm addicted to checking the app. I got a Sesame Street Elmo cartridge I've been eyeing for Allyson's party in 5 months. :)
8. Ugh my phone battery dies so quickly. Annoying!
9. Fathers Day is coming up & I don't know what to get C.
10. Why can't I sleep when everyone else is? Maybe it's time to close the EBay app & go to bed! Night!!

How old are they?

A. Austin - 9 weeks 5 days

B. Allyson - 18 months 

What activities are going on this week? Nothing really planned. Might attempt the library again. 

What challenges are we dealing with this week? Just the teething monster Allyson. 

Any milestones reached this week?

A. Austin - He's cooing more and more. He laughed like a belly laugh in the tub a few nights ago. Sweetest sound ever! 

B. Allyson - She said Uncle Cody. It was actually more like "Coco" it's so cute!! 

How are you feeling about having 2u2 at this point?

Likes: I feel like I say it every week but seeing Allyson love on her brother. She likes to hold him for short amounts of time. Usually when Aubrey is holding Austin she will sign more & point to him.  

Dislikes: Exhaustion. Some days I wake up just tired. This morning for example. Allyson woke up at 2:30. I fell asleep then Austin woke up at 5. He was really stuffy so I brought him in bed. He slept better then at 6 he woke up to eat. Then by 7 it was time to get up with the girls.

How old are they?

A. Austin - 8 weeks 5 days

B. Allyson - 18 months 

What activities are going on this week? Grocery Store today. I want to try to take them to the library sometime. Yes, I've lost my mind. This Saturday is Conrad's Graduation Party!! 

What challenges are we dealing with this week? Allyson is back to not wanting to sleep at night. It took Conrad and I an hour to get her to go to sleep last night. She just stands there screaming. We've seriously tried everything! We are exhausted. 

Any milestones reached this week?

A. Austin - He is just full of smiles and starting to coo at us. melts.my.heart

B. Allyson - She a little jumping machine. She's getting her feet off the ground too. 

How are you feeling about having 2u2 at this point?

Likes: There is never a dull moment around here. One of them is always doing something cute or funny.

Dislikes: I just can't be in two or three places at once. Allyson is just all over the place, running, jumping, spinning, and playing. Austin is just happy to lay on the blanket and smile at me. I feel like I miss out on some things.

2u2 Tuesday

How old are they?

A. Austin - 7 weeks 5 days

B. Allyson - 18 months 

What activities are going on this week? Kathy is taking the girls today. I'm sick again today so looks like we'll be going to the store tomorrow. Thursday is the last MOPS of the year. Friday my friend Anna is coming out to visit and meet Austin. Sunday we are going to the Zoo!! 

What challenges are we dealing with this week? I am not feeling good and haven't since Saturday so a sick momma and three kids isn't a good combo. Let's just say I'm really thankful for Netflix.

Any milestones reached this week?

A. Austin - He's following objects and turning his head along with it. 

B. Allyson - Nothing new this week.

How are you feeling about having 2u2 at this point?

Likes: They are both growing so fast so it seems like every day someone is something new or different.

Dislikes: It's still just exhausting when I don't get a nap in. Shoot even when I do get a nap I'm ready for bed.
