We celebrated the end of 2011 with family of course! Everyone came over had dinner and we played games. My mom and sisters left early because she had to be at work early on Sunday :( We played a few more games and then decided that we should toast early and just celebrate Arizona time, that way those driving home could hopefully avoid any DUI stops (not that anyone was drunk).
Conrad and I stayed up for just a little while longer and then headed off to bed. Our neighbors behind us thought that it would be great fun to light fireworks or shooting a gun off until all hours of the morning. I swear they went off every hour until 5:00AM. They would go off and make their noise for 15 minutes, it would take me about 15 minutes to fall back asleep and then like 20 minutes later they were going off again. So ANNOYING! I think that the noise disrupted Allyson's sleep because she slept in until almost 10, which is so not like her. Her bed was a mess when we went to check on her because she was sleeping so long. She had her head far away from her window when she is usually facing the other way. I'm really thankful that she didn't wake up and cry every hour last night.
My sweet Aubrey was up bright and early this morning. The noise must not have bothered her. Luckily I was able to lay on the couch with her and get some shut eye while she watched Dinosaur Train.
