Day 18: Something you regret

I think one thing I regret is not taking a parenting class sooner. I have learned so many things in last few weeks. So many things that I could have been doing. Things that will help Conrad and I, and that will help our children. Who knew? Such simple things *as I typed this, I had to stop and take care of something with Aubrey, lol* but seriously. I don't understand why some people view taking a parenting class as a bad thing.

I better go get Aubrey out of time out now ..

Cleaning out the closet

I decided to tackle Aubrey & Allyson's closets yesterday. Oh what a task that was!! I had boxes of Aubrey's old clothes that weren't in any kind of order. Just shoved in to what ever box I had at the time. This is Allyson closet, well a part of it.

I bought some nice big clear boxes from Walmart.

OH let the fun begin.

It was a lot of fun going through Aubrey's clothes and remembering when she was little. It was hard to believe she was that little, my goodness!

I found some clothes that Ally would fit into, or soon be fitting into. I have those hung up in the closet, using the cute dividers I made over the summer.

It took me all day to clean, between going through the clothes, my precious little girl not wanting to nap unless in my arms, and my sweet Aubrey helping ... But I finished!!

Ahh ... organization!! It feels so good.

Day 16: Dream House

I've been thinking about this one for awhile. I know there are things that I want in a house and things I definitely do not want.

I want to have a big backyard. I want my kids to be able to run and play out there. Have a picnic table. A swimming pool. I want my girls to have a play house out in the back.

I want a nice big porch. With a cute comfy little swing.

I want a one of those front doors that are glass. I want to have my front door far away from the street that way the whole world can't see in.

I want a big family room. With a fire place. I want to be able to buy a gianormous Christmas tree and still have plenty of room for the family to gather around.

My pool has to have a pretty waterfall and pretty landscaping around.

I want there to be colorful flowers in the front of my house. With green perfect grass.

A big garage ... for my lovely hubby.

I want a little nook or something in my bedroom where I can just curl up and read in a cozy chair or sofa.

I don't know if I would want a two story house, but if I did it would have to have a laundry shoot.

Ohh I want a big laundry room. With a place to hang my clothes. A counter for folding clothes.

I feel like I could go on and on .. ahh my dream home ..

Aubrey

was rocking her crocs today.

She loves these pink things!!

Aubrey thought she was hot stuff wearing them today. We ran a couple errands and she would tell anyone that would listen about her new crocs. I love that she's not shy! She can talk to anyone and everyone. . . I'm a little jealous that my almost 4 year old isn't afraid of speaking with people and I'm terrified!

Day 15: Bible Verse

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful."

Psalm 139:13-14

while I was pregnant I often came back to this verse. i love it.

Just because they are so cute

The binky says it all

Day 14: A picture you love

This is probably one of my favorites.

There is just so much sweetness in this picture.
Aubrey loves Allyson so much!! Ally loves her big sister so much too. It melts my heart to see the two of them together.

Some pictures

Here are some pics from these last few weeks.

We went on a tour of a Fire Station with MOPS... here are the girls

On our walk today. I let Aubrey hold Ally while riding in the wagon. Yes I was feeling very brave for some reason today.

Aubrey and Cianna at Disney on Ice

Who me? What?!?!

Aubrey's 2nd hair cut.

Before ..

After
I love her new hair cut. Her hair doesn't get as many, if any, tangles. She can wear it down which she couldn't do before. And she's just adorable!!

Day 12: What you believe

Ugh!! I'm never going to finish this blog challenge. Back where I left off ...

I believe that everything happens for a reason. God has a plan for our life. His plans are sooo much better than mine.

2. Desperate Housewives
3. The Office

Day 10 : Something you're afraid of

I'm afraid of the dark.

When Conrad is gone I sleep with my bathroom light on and the door cracked so light is coming through AND with the TV on.

For a while if I woke up in the middle of the night and needed to pee, I would turn the bathroom light on. Drink of water in the middle of the night? Yep all the lights came on.

I don't know why I'm afraid. I know there are no monsters. I know that nothing is there, but I'm still afraid.

Day 9: Most important things in you life

As I started to type this I was going to write about my family being the most important thing in my life, they are important to me. My number one would have to be my Jesus. He has given me strength when I had none. He has blessed me in so many ways. He's always there, even if I have strayed. Jesus is my rock.

Allyson - 3 months old

My sweet little girl is 3 months old today. THREE MONTHS. I cannot believe it. I feel like I have gone through so much in the last few months. We've worked through her weight issues, sickness, now we are working on getting more sleep at night. She is developing such a little personality. Miss Allybug knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it. She is full of smiles and giggles.

look at those blue eyes

Weight: (getting weighed later today)
Height:

What does Allyson do?
-Smiles at her sister whenever she sees her
-loves chewing on her hands
-beginning to grab/bat at objects
-kicks and "dances" in her bouncer
-loves to be sitting up
-likes to be tickled
-can have a "conversation"
-follows objects with her eyes and turns her head to follow

That of course means that today Aubrey is 3 years and 8 months old. She's growing up too fast. Almost time to start planning a four year birthday party. She wants to have a Toy Story party but Mommy is pushing for a Tangled party. We will just have to see. She loves her new Jessie doll. Aubrey and I had some Mommy/Aubrey time at the mall earlier in the week and this is what she picked out.

Height: 38 1/2 inches (16th percentile)
Weight: 33 pounds ( 16th percentile)
*The percents are according to some website ... I don't think
she's in the 16th for both ... kinda weird.

Aubrey can do so much

-she has a ton of songs and books memorized
-she's learning how to read and can read some words
-memorizes bible verse (so precious to hear her recite)
- she can count to 50
-recognizes numbers 1-10
-Knows what letters make what sounds
-she can carry a conversation with an adult
-she has manners
-she is learning to tell time on a standard clock

I'm so incredibly proud of her and all that she can do.

Day 8 : A place you've traveled to

Day 7: Favorite Movies

The Notebook

This is my absolute favorite movie. The story of Allie & Noah. .. It makes me cry EVERY time. Duke reading to his wife every single day. Seeing the love that he has for her even though she doesn't remember him. I love the happy but sad ending. Guess where I fell in love with Ally's name?

Love Actually

I love all the different kinds of love in this movie. I love all of their accents too. And the song is AWESOME! :)

Tummy Time

Day 5 : What's in your purse?

Aaahhh my purse ... way back when I used to have really cute purses. Small ones, big ones. Matching wallets. before I had to carry actual stuff.

Last year Conrad bought me a really cute bag from Jo Totes

It's amazing. I can bring my nice camera in the bag without worrying about it being squished because it's cushioned. It comes with all these velcro dividers so I can bring all my other stuff. and by stuff I mean my wallet and phone. So much stuff right?

Then Miss Allybug came along and it was back to diaper bags for me.

This is my current "purse"
Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lovely huh? *eye roll*
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
For Ally
diapers, wipes, nursing cover, an extra outfit, usually a bottle

For Aubrey
iPod for Aubrey, a snack for Aubrey

For Me
my wallet and checkbook gets shoved in there, my keys get lost in there, and receipts get crinkled in this bag. My iPhone goes in the outside pocket, right next to my lip gloss. And any other random thing that comes along gets shoved in there.

I bought a really cute, fun fabric and I'm going to make a diaper bag. Something cute. I swear it will get made before Ally's first birthday!
