Friday we headed up to Herring Creek for our camping trip. Conrad, Aubrey and I went up there with Kathy and Cody.
Aubrey and Daddy before everyone got all dirty.
Relaxing in the hammock with Amma. There were a lot of giggles, laughs and yelling going on while they were in the hammock. Aubrey was pointing out all the things that were "Kitchy".
Some things that are kitchy:
The creek
birds
flowers
hammock
rocks
monkeys
blue jays
Amma
Daddy
Mommy
NOT Kitchy:
Candles
sharks
towels
We had lots of fun with this new word this weekend.
Aubrey's 3 year old attitude is starting to come out. She decided that she didn't want her picture taken.
"No Mom"
Aubrey asked to wear one of the walkie talkies because she's a police woman. The things that this kid says just makes me smile. She had fun wearing it and talking to whoever would talk to her.
Our campsite had a lot of rocks and Aubrey had a blast climbing on them and jumping off. It's such a change from last year where she had just turned 2 and would not have been able to do half of the climbing and jumping she did.
Beautiful flowers while we were walking to the reservoir. I couldn't help but be amazed at my surrounding. God is so amazing. To think that He created all of this.
Conrad, Cody and Aubrey took the boat over to a little island so Aubrey could go in the water.
This picture is probably one of my favorites of the weekend. This looks like such a sweet moment shared between father and daughter. It just makes my heart melt.
I admit I had a lots of laughs and fun this weekend. I did get eaten alive by mosquitos. I couldn't wait to get home and take a shower put on some clean clothes and sleep in my own bed. Was not as bad as I thought. Now next year with a 4 year old and a 6 month old ... we will see :)
